忠臣蔵で知られる赤穂浅野家の分家・若狭野浅野家が構えた陣屋跡に残る建物を巡り、住民らが保存運動を始めた。江戸時代、藩札を作っていた「札座」で、築後200年近くたち外壁や柱が老朽化。同市は建物の状態から保存に及び腰で、住民有志らが「歴史的遺産を守ろう」と保存プロジェクトを立ち上げた
